This position is for a licensed psychologist to provide pediatric and obstetric behavioral health integrated care within a busy primary care patient centered medical home. This position is excellent for a generalist psychologist who has a passion for integrated behavioral health care in primary care settings. Our chosen psychologist will also have a mission for increasing patient access and in serving underserved patient populations.
Utilizing a collaborative approach, the selected Psychologist will provide evidence-based screening, diagnostic and treatment planning services. The Psychologist will deliver a wide range of brief evidence-based interventions (e.g., PMT or behavioral modification, CBT, Trauma-focused CBT, exposure therapy, and motivational interviewing) both via scheduled outpatient office visits and during just-in-time consults in the OBGYN/Pediatric medical office. He or she will also collaborate with other members of the health care team to provided integrated care. Finally, the psychologist will assist in the pediatric and OBGYN screening for high risk developmental and behavioral health conditions. The position involves primarily direct clinical care, as well as opportunities for interdisciplinary teaching and supervision of psychology students.
The position is full time, assistant professor level, clinical-educator track, and the chosen applicant will be housed within the department of psychology at Baylor College of Medicine. The primary practice location for this position is in Southwest Houston area.

The Center for Children and Women is a Texas Children's Health Plan patient centered medical home serving patients with Medicaid. We serve approximately 20,000 pediatric and OBGYN patients within this center location.
The formal education and/or experience required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is:
• A Doctoral Degree in Psychology
• Must be currently licensed in the State of Texas as a Psychologist
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a medical or behavioral health setting.
The following is preferred: • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
