Provide Individual, crisis and group therapy to survivors of sexual assault and abuse; complete initial assessments and provide appropriate referrals; co-facilitate workshops for secondary survivors; provide supervision to therapy interns; provide training and presentations in the community; maintain all client records according to clinical, ethical and legal standards
Master or Doctorate level counseling, psychology or clinical social work degree
Able to quickly establish rapport with clients
Able to readily assess and respond to clinical needs and crisis situations
Provide caring and competent services to clients
Possess an understanding of the dynamics of sexual assault
Understand the basis of trauma informed therapy and be able to utilize appropriate therapeutic interventions
Understand and assess common responses to trauma
Strong knowledge of ethical and legal responsibilities of the mental health profession
Well organized, flexible, and able to multi-task
Outreach and networking experience
Training and presentation skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Bi-lingual in Spanish, preferred
License preferred, or license eligible
