The Yale Child Study Center has openings for two full-time board certified or board eligible child and adolescent psychiatrists dedicated to a career in academic medicine. The mission of the Yale Child Study Center is to improve the mental health of children and families, advance understanding of their psychological and developmental needs, and treat and prevent childhood mental illness through the integration of research, clinical practice, and professional training.

This ladder track faculty position will be at the level of Assistant Professor. Successful candidates will be excellent clinicians, educators, and/or researchers with interests and experience in a range of relevant areas across the continuum of care offered at the Yale Child Study Center. Each position has the potential to provide a mixture of clinical, teaching, leadership, and research opportunities across multiple settings dependent on the interests and skills of the faculty member. A position might include serving as an attending in our consultation/liaison service, our inpatient child psychiatric unit for youth 4-14, our partial hospital program for youth 5-11, our in-home clinical services, and/or our outpatient clinical services.
