About the Program
Our Outpatient Program provides assessment and evaluation, treatment plan development, and provides clinically indicated outpatient therapy, case management, skills training, and psychiatric (medication) services.
About the Position
We have a Full-Time opening for an OutpatientMental Health Therapists(QMHP) to provide clinical services for individuals affected by or living with mental illness at our Central Clinic and Main Street Clinic in Medford, OR. Therapists will be responsible for providing effective individual and group therapy. Clinicians working in this program will have the opportunity to utilize evidenced based assessment and treatment approaches that are strengths-based and trauma-informed. This position works as a member of an internal interdisciplinary team and could also provide consultation with and referral to external resources, including PCP’s, community partners, and natural social supports as necessary to promote wellness and recovery for clients.
Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm OR 9:00am – 6:00pm
This position requires the ability to perform a Comprehensive Mental Health Assessment and Treatment Plan, as well asthe ability to update these documents as required and clinically appropriate. Experience in documenting to the Medicaid-standard is strongly preferred; training will be provided to the right candidate. Successful clinicians will have a strong working knowledge of the DSM 5 and the ability to direct and offer appropriate clinical treatment. Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills are needed. Knowledge of community resources in order to assist clients with transition plans and case coordination is preferred. In addition, direct care staff must be willing and able to successfully complete our Verbal and Physical Intervention (VPI) training, which requires performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques.

MUST meet State of Oregon QMHP credentials:
a.) MUST have a Master’s degree in Psychology,Counseling, Social Work or related field
>OR Bachelor's Degree in Nursing as well as be Licensed by the State of Oregon
Successful applicants MUST have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check
