• Consultation services to staff and teachers in preschools and Early Education Centers. Services include: Group Consultation to providers; Individual Consultation to providers; Child/Class Observation; Training/Parent Support; Direct Mental Health services to children 0-5 years old. • Direct mental health services to homeless and formerly homeless children 0-18 wiht Full-scope Medi-Cal and their families both on-site at schools, at the HCN offices or other designated community locations. Services include Assessment, Individual Therapy, Collateral, Case Management and Family Therapy.
*All services must be provided in a developmentally-appropriate, culturally appropriate, and strength-based manner that fosters mutual respect and support for providers, parents, and children
Must have a strong background in child development • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy • EPSDT (MediCal) experience strongly preferred. • Knowledge/experience with issues of homelessness and domestic violence. • Child development knowledge and experience. Must have experience working with children 0-5. • Knowledge of Bay Area resources for low-income and homeless families. • Positive attitude and team player with proven ability to work with people of different ethnic, socioeconomic, educational, religious and sexual orientations a must.
