The Position: The Program Manager is responsible for programs of the assigned Behavioral Health team. This includes providing oversight of day-to-day activities and case assignment, clinical supervision of multidisciplinary team members, and a plays key role in program design, development, achievement and compliance with applicable Oregon Administrative Rules/Oregon Revised Statues to the state approved model of care for severely mentally ill individuals. This may also include responsibility for the clinical oversight of the Behavioral Health outpatient team, to include regular clinical supervisions, oversight of clinical documentation, and training on documentation standards that are consistent with both the Oregon Administrative Rules and departmental documentation expectations. Specialty duties may also be assigned. This position may require some direct service for client care.
Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of work with a Community Mental Health Program as both a direct service provider and supervisor/manager. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and supervision of staff at multiple professional levels. Knowledge and experience with compliance of Oregon Administrative Rules and Oregon Revised Statutes. Knowledge and training on evidence-based practices as they apply to work with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Experience with ACT teams and applicable fidelity model.
A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology or a related field that allows for licensure.
5 years of professional level mental health experience in a mental health facility, hospital or other clinical setting. Less than 5 years of experience may be considered.
2 years of experience supervising professional level staff in a mental health facility, hospital or other clinical setting. (Supervisory experience includes the authority to hire, terminate, assign, reward, discipline, etc)
PsyD, LPC, LMFT, LCSW. License is required.
