Four County Counseling Center is dedicated to providing the supervision as outlined by the state to assist in securing licensure.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position serves as the head supervisor of psychological services. This position is responsible for providing guidance and support to less experienced psychologists who may require the knowledge of a chief psychologist for the targeted treatment of complex and difficult cases. This position is often responsible for performing clinical duties including treatment plan review in addition to administrative work. A person in this position must be willing to work with the targeted population, whether children, adolescents, or adults. A person in this position must be knowledgeable in and must uphold state, federal, and agency laws/standards with regards to the practice of medicine. This position is responsible for presenting a complimentary image of the Center at all times and operates as a role model to Center associates demonstrating uncompromising professional maturity and integrity. This position operates with a large degree of autonomy and must exercise tact, judgment and confidentiality in contact with the public, governmental bodies, other agencies, clients and families, as well as fellow associates of the Center. Work is very broad in scope and requires a high level of professionalism and maturity.
