MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, nursing, counseling or a related field, plus one year of clinical experience.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED: - MANDT Certifications within six months of appointment and annually thereafter;
- First Aid and CPR certification, within 90 days of appointment and maintained throughout CSB employment;
- Medication Administration Assistance Certification within 90 days of appointment;
- Valid Motor Vehicle Driver's license with fewer than six demerit points (or the equivalent in another State) at time of appointment and maintained throughout employment with CSB.
- Qualified Mental Health Professional – Adult (QMHP-A)-Required within 1 month of hire
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, a Child Protective Services Registry, a driving record check, and a sanctions screening to the satisfaction of the employer. TB screening upon hire and annually thereafter.
Ability to quickly respond to a crisis and to work directly with clients teaching housekeeping, cooking and shopping skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed or license eligible, or able to begin the licensure process to be a LPC or LCSW.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Independently drives vehicles and transport clients; ability to climb stairs, walk, stand, bend, and physically support clients as needed to carry out job duties. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Ability to observe client behavior/appearance, document in Electronic Health Records and staff logs, and use keyboard driven equipment. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
