Penn Highlands Healthcare is now accepting experienced BCPsychiatry candidates to serve as the Medical Director of Psychiatry at Penn Highlands DuBois.
The Medical Director will be responsible for medical oversight of the psychiatry department. The time split for this position will be 10% medical director duties and 90% clinical psychiatry. The ideal candidate will have MD/DO degree from an accredited program, will be board certified in Psychiatry with a minimum of five years of practice experience. Leadership experience preferred.
Practice located within a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA)
Inpatient only, Outpatient only or a mix of both if desired
Current - 34 bed Adult Inpatient Unit, 30 bed Geropsych Unit, 10 bed Child/Adolescent unit
Future – major expansion resulting in 48 bed Adult IP, 24 bed C&A, 20 bed addiction, 10 bed high acuity, Psych Urgent Care, 30 bed Geropsych as part of the creation of a dedicated behavioral health hospital
