Purpose & General Description of the Position: Provides therapeutic services to children whom have been abused and neglected and reside in residential treatment facility.
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from an accredited university.
Valid Michigan driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to the Agency’s insurance carrier.
Possession of one of the following: Licensed Master’s Level Social Worker, Licensed Master’s Level Counselor, Limited License Master’s Level Psychologist, Licensed Psychologist, PhD, Limited License Master’s Level Counselor or Limited License Masters Level Social Worker under the supervision of a Licensed Counselor or a Licensed Masters Level Social Worker for the State of Michigan.
Meet State “Good Moral Character” guidelines;
At least 1 year experience working with children in a clinical setting is required. Experience with trauma based clinical interventions and working with survivors of abuse and neglect is preferred.
