We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Level Investigator (Associate or Full Professor level) to join MRN to lead the COBRE III NIH grant and be a part of our collaborative neuroscience research team.
MRN occupies 50,000 square foot headquarters and houses state-of-the-art MRIs (3T Siemens and twin Siemens mobile MRIs) 350 channel MEG, multiple high-density EEG, and a petabyte data center with 1000s of G/CPUs. MRN’s Multimodal Imaging of Neuropsychiatric Disorders (MIND) COBRE (P20) was awarded (2/2018) a five-year phase III award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The Phase III project will expand the technical cores established during the first and second phases of the project including multimodal data acquisition (MDA), algorithm and data analysis (ADA), and biostatistics and neuroinformatics (BNI). The current PI of the award is relocating so MRN is looking to recruit a new interim and/or permanent PI to assume the project lead for the remaining 4-5 years of the project and beyond. The faculty position requires a Ph.D. and/or M.D. and a strong record of publications and research accomplishments relevant to the COBREs aims. Chosen candidates are expected to establish well-supported, rigorous and competitive research programs to support MRN’s overall research program. Preference is given to candidates who demonstrate a history of success in obtaining support for sponsored/funded research.
