Our brand-new Behavioral Health Care Center is searching for a Senior Clinician to provide clinical and administrative supervision as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team dedicated to serving the children and families of the Capital Region. The Senior Clinician will oversee a team of clinicians for the facility’s new Behavioral Health Center (an outpatient article 31 mental health clinic), develop and supervise intakes and treatment plans, and maintain a small caseload.

Substance Abuse Screen/Assessment
Social Needs Screening - Health Leads
Comprehensive Psychosocial Assessment to include diagnosis and needs to develop treatment plan (IAP)
Obtain release of information forms for all current past mental health providers, inpatient and outpatient, school, primary care provider
Ensure compliance with all agency/state/federal requirements for completion of client paperwork
Provide individual/family and group counseling, with the main focus of treatment centered around family therapy
Facilitate/Coordinate tele-mental health services, as needed.
Collaborate and coordinate with current and community resources identified by the client/family that may be of support during treatment, or refer.These include services such as but not limited to; Health Home, Outpatient Therapy (Mental Health and Substance Abuse), Medication Management, and Primary Care.
Monitor implementation and progress of treatment plan goals and adjust when and where needed to work towards established treatment goals.
As assigned rotate schedule to provide 24 hour emergency clinical coverage for all Behavioral Health Centers.
LCSW - Required/LCSW - R - Preferred
3-4 years experience post licensure
