This position is responsible for supervising staff involved in behavioral health case management activities and support for case management programs, assisting in developing and implementing behavioral health care policies and procedures related to Case Management, and monitor and assist department in achieving goals.
Registered Nurse or Masters-level Behavioral Health Professional with current, valid license in good standings (independent practice license if BH Professional) in the State of Texas.
2 years experience with direct clinical care to the consumer.
3 years experience working with member behavioral health cases in a clinical and/or managed care settings.
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
Knowledge of behavioral health care products and programs.
Knowledge of accrediting agency standards and regulations.
Project management skills.
Verbal and written communications skills; interpersonal and organizational skills.
PC proficiency and database experience.
Note-must obtain Case Management Certification within four (4) years.
