The Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time, academic year, tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Medical Sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain an energetic, well-funded research program; teach neuroscience in the veterinary professional programs; and engage in multidisciplinary and collaborative research. We are especially interested in candidates with experience and expertise in neuroanatomy.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in neuroscience or closely related field and relevant post-doctoral experience. Preference will be given to individuals who also hold a D.V.M. (or equivalent). We seek a neuroscientist who will be willing and able to interact with veterinary clinical neuroscientists in teaching and research and who will educate, train, and mentor professional and graduate students.
