The Clinical Supervisor of Emergency Department Behavioral Health (ED BH) & Medical Integration provides managerial and operational oversight to the ED Behavioral Health Clinicians. This role also has oversight and takes lead on completing BH assessments and referrals on the medical floors and acts as an integral member of the interdisciplinary medical treatment team. This role carries out the personnel activities associated with direct staff supervision as well as directly supervises and coordinates the ED patient flow. An important role in this position is to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, ED physicians, hospitalists, nurses, case managers, and administration management – as well as ensure that effective communication occurs within the team.
Master’s degree and either a LMSW or LCSW-C.
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in a behavioral health setting required.
Work in a hospital, emergency departments or crisis field preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
