Assistant Professor - Counseling Psychology - Tenure Track
The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at California Baptist University invites applicants for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position in the Master of Science in Counseling Psychology program.
The successful candidate should possess a doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy or a closely related field, and be licensed as a marriage and family therapist (or license-eligible) in the state of California. Applicants should have university teaching experience, be actively involved in the provision of direct clinical services, have a strong foundation in relational/systemic theory and practice, and have experience in leadership.
Duties including teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, actively engaging in research and scholarship, and serving with purpose and distinction within the community. A strong interest in and commitment to the integration of faith and learning in the practice of marriage and family therapy are required. Preference will be given to candidates with a history of quality teaching, notable scholarship, and demonstrated relational skills.
