Bozeman Health announced the addition of the NICU within its new women’s and children’s tower at Deaconess Hospital, which is currently planned to open in the fall of 2020. The NICU will open as a Level II NICU, meaning that most babies born as early as 32 weeks gestation can be cared for within the unit; it is anticipated that it will quickly transition to a Level III NICU, providing care for babies born as early as 28 weeks gestation.
Bozeman Health’s NICU team provides exceptional patient care for babies who are premature or have health issues and need specialized care. Our team has the training, technology, and transport options to provide a center of excellence in Montana for neonatal care and maternal-fetal medicine services for babies born as early as 32 weeks gestation.
As a Women’ Services and NICU Behavioral Health Coordinator, you will:
Meet, asses and work with families with an identified social risk factor, social risk factor and all babies born at or below 32 weeks gestation or any gestational age with a critical or chronic health need.
Provide orientation to the NICU, educate caregivers and establish support groups for family and the family advisory committee.
Bozeman Health is looking for individuals that possess:
Master's degree in social work
Successful completion of all supervisory courses required by the State of Montana to supervise LCSWs, Social Workers with Latinx Certificate (SWLCs) and Licensed Clinical Professional Councilor (LCPC)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within six (6) months of hire
Licensed Mental Health Professional (MHP) within (one) 1 year of hire
A minimum of five (5) years’ service delivery experience in social work
