Performs testing and evaluation procedures on patients to assess disabilities, injuries and diseases as related to speech and/or swallowing disorders. Uses a variety of therapeutic techniques according to the prescription of a physician to promote functional independence and improve quality of life. Other duties may be assigned as needed by the supervisor.
Required: Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Sciences and Disorders
Preferred: Competency in performing modified barium swallow exams and Fees experience
Required: Florida Speech Therapist License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
