DEGREE OF SUPERVISION: Quarterly
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet with clients individually for initial psychiatric assessment and evaluation
Weekly follow up with clients (or more frequently as needed)
Lead medical quality assurance component of weekly treatment team meeting
Participate in weekly clinical meetings
Complete documentation in a timely and efficient manner including notes from individual sessions with residents or family members
Assist/provide direction in the development of Muir Wood clinical program, provide intelligence and interpretation on recent data points and studies, best practices and adolescent residential clinical program design
Participation in weekly treatment team meeting to remain updated on developments with residents’ treatment planning goals and medical/treatment concerns
Liaison to the treatment community as professional representative of Muir Wood and attendance at professional conferences such as the AACAP and other industry driven events
Development of PPT presentations and other presentation for Muir Wood sponsored community lecture events
Assist in the review of Muir Wood Policy and Procedures/Program Statement; Medical Records and Assessments
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Muir Wood Adolescent & Family Services (Muir Wood), is a Joint Commission accredited, residential treatment program for adolescents with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health issues. Located on a total of 25 acres in Sonoma County, CA, Muir Wood’s treatment team includes full-time, board-certified psychiatrists, medical and nursing staff, psychologists, and six full-time Masters-level, licensed therapists. Our individual and family therapists carry a maximum caseload of six clients. In addition, the Muir Wood Learning Center, located and integrated on campus, is a Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accredited supplemental academic program led by Masters-level, State-credentialed teachers.
